Stryper Rocks!

What's up people? Not much new to report. My wife is feeling a little worse each day, which isn't good news. I am glad I am a man and don't have to go through child birth process. Not only does the whole birth process seem crazy but the nine months leading up to it don't seem to be a picnic either. Anyway I am anxiously waiting for my new Stryper DVD. That's right Stryper. Way before I was ever a Christian I was a huge Stryper fan and as I look back, their music played a big role in my coming to the Lord. I enjoy reflecting back about this, I am reminded how far God has brought me since those days. What is exciting is that Stryper is back together. They recently released a new studio album called REBORN, that in my opinion kicks butt. My brother just showed up at my house, I gotta run. Long live Stryper!

Ramble on

What's up people? Things are good from my end of things. I think the Riders may have made one of the best moves in franchise history by hiring Eric Tillman as the new G.M. I'm pretty stoked because yesterday I ordered my new drum kit (Pictured here). Though it looks white, it is actually called White Onyx, giving it a kind of swirl in the finish. I'ts the first real good kit i've ever had. The one I have now is good, but it is vintage and getting tired. I had a good day meeting with young people. I'm excited at how God is at work in their lives. One guy said he wants to become a Christian. He will have a long road dealing with some of the issues in his life, but hey who doesn't right! Needless to say, God is at work. I'm amazed by God. Since I started my Bible College days creation has become really important to me. What I mean is that it allows me to see God, to smell God, to touch God etc. Everyday I see something that reminds me that there is so much more happeneing here, it's exciting. I am very blessed, since coming to the Lord almost 8 years ago God has blessed me so much. God you are good.

Here we go again!

What a crazy week. I've been working hard at the new YFC church/office space. Man I can't wait to get settled in there. Besides that Barb and I found out that we are expecting our second child. I think Barb is due at the end of April, Alex was born May 2 so we'll see how that plays out. I am excited, yet really nervous about the whole thing. Kids are a lot of work, two little people just freaks me out a bit. But like I said I am excited. I definitley fee a little more prepared this time around. Unfortunately Barb is already feeling under the weather, which has added to my busyness at home. I'ts all good though. I'ts good for me to serve my wife like this again. Other than that it was great to see the Yankees lay a beating on those darn Red Sox. The Yankees swept the series, putting them 51/2 games in front of Boston. I didn't realize it until last years hockey playoffs, but I really like being the heel. What I mean is that I love cheering against the Calgary Flames, since most of my friends are Flames "fans". Perhaps this is why I love the Yankees. I have always cheered for them mind you. But it is so sweet to see them succeed, with their 26 World Series Championships. I love it. Keep up the good work George!

Alex the Man

Here is a pic of my kid Alexander. Lookin GQ. This little guy is awesome. I'm so thankful to the Lord for him. Everyday is a blessing. That is one thing that I took from Byron's funeral, is that everyday is precious. I (we) cannot take anything for granted. Life is too short. People are too important, God is too important. My only hope is that when the fire comes, that I will be able to say "It is well with my soul." This got a little deeper than I intended. Sory it won't happen again. Just kidding.

I'm Back

Howdy all. Just wanted to let you know that I will be posting again, from time to time of course. Lots has happened since May. I have been everywhere and seen nothing, that's not totally true, but not far off. Johnny Cash' new album has finally come out, which did not dissapoint as usual. My kid is big, and is tearing up everything. God remains good, imagine that. Lost a friend to a car accident, sucks big time. Thankfully Byron was stronger in his faith than ever. Praise God. I be back. Go Canucks Go. Roberto, Roberto, Roberto. Peace out.
