Apology to Flames faithful

I'm sorry for spelling Miikka Kiprusoff's name wrong. If you look at my previous post I spelled his last name Kippersoff, which is incorrect. I wanted to apologize in advance so I wouldn't be giving you another chance to jump all over me. So I guess I'm not really sorry. Go Ducks Go. Or anyone who happens to play Calgary for that matter. In Canuck news I heard that Marcus Naslund shot a 72 yesterday! Keep up the good work guys. Us Canuck faithful believe in you guys. With some practice maybe we can make the PGA tour. Go get em fellas!

Down in Flames!

Yesterday we drafted our playoff pool at church. This is going to be a very exciting playoffs for me, even if the Canucks arn't playing. I drafted four players from the Mighty Ducks which allowes me to cheer against the Flames even more than usual. I love it. I hope the Flames die an ugly death in the playoffs, that is my only hope in these playoffs. They could make it to the cup again and lose in the seventh game like last year and I would love it. I don't care what they do as long as they don't win the cup. This team should change their name to Miikka Kippersoff and the Calgary Flames. They are bums, the whole lot of em. Do I think they will make some noise. Yes I do. But as Andrew pointed out, they may not get as far without Gelinas and Conroy. It will be really interesting nonetheless. Go Ducks Go! I will cheer for anyone who plays against Kippersoff and the Flames, it does not matter. As long as Calgary goes down.

The misery is over!

Well the Canucks are officially done. I'm a little shocked believe it or not. I never thought that at the beginning of this season the Canucks would miss the playoffs. I'm kinda glad though. I really think it is time for change. Whether that means that Crawford goes or a bunch of players go, it's time for change. I agree with my friend Scott when he says the Canucks blew their shot a few years ago against Minnesota, when they were up three games to one. That one hurt. So I think it is time to start over. I think there were issues in the room that couldn't be fixed, if this is so, then it is time to ship those players out. On a different note I would like to see San Jose and Nashville do well. They are the teams that I am pulling for. I hope Calgary will make an early exit, but I think that is unlikely seeing as the best player in franchise history is between the pipes. I wish Kipper would get hurt for like 2 weeks and then see where those bums would be at. I know that sounds morbib and all, but hey this is my blog and I can say whatever I want, especially about those dang Flames. Anyway it will be an interesting playoffs.

One more to go!

Tomorrow is my last exam at Bethany College, hopefully. I will graduate on Sat. April 14th, hopefully. I'm a little worried. I missed quite a few classes due to YFC stuff and a concussion, so I don't know the material that well. The class is Science & Faith. I'm not much into science so I have been studying a little more for this exam. I have been a little negative lately about my time at Bethany. I feel that I have been smothered there, but I have been convicted that I need not be so negative when millions of people would trade places with me anytime. I have been confronted a lot lately about the raging battle inside me. I realized lately how proud I can be, it has been a disturbing look into myself. That's all I have to say about that.

Shine up your golf clubs boys!

Well the Canucks are in tough now. They have to win all their games, no question about it. This time picks great times to lose. Which makes me glad that they won't be in the playoffs. This is playoff hockey now and they can't muster a win, so why bother in the post season. I'm tired of the talk taht says "let's just get to the playoffs, you never know what will happen." I'm sorry it doesn't work that way in Vancouver. The Canucks had their chance a couple of years ago when they lost to Minnesota in seven games, in which they were leading the series 3 games to 1. My opinion is that they should trade the big guns and start over, from the goalie out. Trade Cloutier (don't get me wrong I like Cloutier), Jovo, Bertuzzi, Morrison. Basically the core of this team needs to go. They have had their chance, it's time to retool.
